What Happened

Spotify and ElevenLabs have partnered since February 2025, when Spotify began accepting ElevenLabs-narrated audiobooks through its Findaway Voices distribution network. Authors would create narration using ElevenLabs tools, download the files, then upload them separately to Findaway Voices for distribution.

The new integration announced at Investor Day collapses that workflow. Authors will be able to create audiobooks using ElevenLabs AI voices and publish them from within Spotify's platform without a separate distribution step.
